Course: From conflict to joint progress

“A conflict is the combination of a case and a relationship”

Don't miss a 2-day course filled with self-awareness and the many perspectives of conflict

A unique and practical 2-day course for those who want to take their personal leadership to a whole new level.
You want to be the leader who has time to listen, create calm and nip conflicts in the bud. But in practice, life is fast-paced - meetings queue up, tasks pile up, and you end up reacting on the fly instead of leading the way you want to.
This course gives you the tools to break that pattern. In two intensive days, you'll gain insights, methods and training that will enable you to prevent collaboration problems and handle resistance and conflict constructively - even when pressure is high and time is short. Instead of reacting on autopilot, you'll gain a clear understanding of why you react the way you do and how to manage conflict with calm, direction and relational strength.
The SYNERGY-R model combines the deep self-awareness of FirstMind with concrete tools for conflict management. It doesn't just give you new methods - it gives you a new starting point as a leader.

Sign up and take the step from intention to practice.

25 and 26 March 2026 in Copenhagen - both days from 8:00 - 16:30.

What is FirstMind?

FirstMind is a data-based talent profile that makes self-awareness practical and actionable. FirstMind is based on a talent-based approach (Gallup), where people's personality and behaviour can be described through 34 universal talents. A talent is a stable pattern of thoughts, feelings and behaviour that affects both What energises you, and What you find easy to learn and get good at. The report shows your most prominent talents and connects them to e.g. strengths/energy drivers and behaviour - so you can understand what happens in you and your relationships when the pressure mounts. This makes it easier to spot early signals, regulate your response and choose language and behaviours that maintain collaboration and prevent disagreements from turning into conflict.

What is a conflict?

Conflict management is about much more than just reducing conflict. Strengthening conflict expertise is an important way to achieve strong collaboration and high Psychological safety in the organisation - and to take on leadership roles with far greater Calm, energy and vigourt in everyday life. Knowledge and tools from conflict management can help us prevent collaboration problems and support a healthy conflict culture. And when resistance or conflict arises, we can actively use it to handle situations constructively so that we come out on the other side with Enhanced trust, learning and professional development.

The course teaches you to handle conflict like the leader you are - with your energy drivers and blindspots - and to prevent it before it happens.

That's exactly what makes this course more than just a classic Conflict management course:

  1. Personalised precision combined with great tools
You don't just learn “good moves” - you learn the moves that work for you because you know your strengths, energy drivers and blindspots.

  2. The model makes “before the conflict” as powerful as “in the conflict”
You become collaborative, consciously shift your perspective and behaviour and make it stick in practice. It reduces conflict - not just the consequences of it.

  3. Energy as a management resource
We work with what switches on and off - and what happens when capacity drops. This is where conflicts typically arise and where you get the greatest impact in everyday life.

  4. Blindspots and intention/effect in practice
You'll see how you can be misunderstood - and how small adjustments in language, timing and role can change the entire direction of the conversation.

  5. Business use - in operation
Everything is trained on the situations that matter: meetings, 1:1, prioritisation, decisions and implementation - so you feel the impact in your reality, not just in the classroom.

  6. Anchoring that stays in the organisation
You don't leave with inspiration, but with a common framework and concrete rituals that can be repeated before/during/after - so the behaviour sticks, even when the pace is fast.

What do you get out of it?

You get a practical toolbox that works in everyday life: early conflict radar, accurate diagnosis, clear role/mandate, 5-step conversation framework and team rituals that make behaviour stable over time.

Who is it for?
  • The days are primarily for managers, managers for managers, project managers, HR and key employees
  • High pace/high standards teams where disagreements need to be translated into results - not friction.
FirstMind as a lens
  • Talents, energy and behaviour: top talent, discussion and stress behaviour, motivational factors.

  • Trigger profile & talent gear: What do you turn up/down - and when?

How we work
  • Diagnosis before dose: the conflict/conflict escalator, triggers and method ceiling, plus dimension/ centre of gravity.

  • Training in triads: Concrete conversation crafts and the 5-step framework: Facts → Feelings → Interpretation → Needs → Action.

That's what you'll take home from the two days:

✅ Operational self-awareness: Strengths, Energy Drivers & Blindspots
Keep an eye on your strengths, energy drivers and blind spots - and how they can become your most effective management tool when it counts.

✅ Understand reactions - hit the right dimension
Learn to distinguish between cause, interests, values and relationships - so you take action where the impact is actually created.

✅ Tapering that works - 5-step conversation tool
A simple structure that keeps you calm, clear and progress-orientated - even when the temperature rises.

✅ Know your triggers - use them constructively
Discover your hot buttons in time and use them as a shortcut to better collaboration - instead of as constraints.

✅Role & mandate - hats in difficult conversations
Choose the right “hat” for difficult conversations - and get your messages across clearly and respectfully.

✅ Prevent team conflicts - before, during and after meetings
Small rituals before, during and after - so conflicts are prevented, decisions stick and energy is used wisely.

✅ Better decisions under pressure - from plan to momentum
Use your talents as a gearbox: turn it up where it lifts, turn it down where it cuts - and gain speed without losing quality.

✅ Culture & learning community - what makes it sustainable
Take home a concrete set of tools and formulations that make good behaviour repeatable in your team.

OM Mette Madelaire
Owner of the consultancy Madelaire

I specialise in conflict management, and I see great potential in strengthening the conflict skills of managers and employees in all professional areas where we want to increase cooperation, well-being and psychological safety - and reduce the level of conflict.

We may tend to think that working with conflict management is only relevant when we have a conflict. But the knowledge, tools and approaches from conflict management can be used just as much preventive in everyday life to avoid minor disagreements, scepticism, frustration or resistance from growing bigger. It's therefore about much more than just reducing conflict - conflict competence is key to building a healthy culture in the organisation with strong collaboration and high psychological safety.

My favourite quote is:

”Behind every conflict is a frustrated dream”

I help managers and employees in many different sectors and professional groups to actively use conflict professionalism in their everyday work to achieve better results and greater professional development in the organisation, with greater overview, energy and calm in their own role.

About Per Storm
Co-founder of CROPS ApS

More than 25 years of experience in leadership, growth strategy and development of people and organisations. I work at the intersection of business, energy and leadership - where self-awareness, strengths and collaboration become the driving force behind results.

I help CEOs, owner-managers and teams create clarity, direction and momentum. Based on energy and strengths, I bridge the gap between strategy and everyday life - between plan and action. My approach is data-based, human and always focussed on freeing up energy, not just time.

I believe that business succeeds when people succeed together - and that energy is the strongest leadership resource we have. That's why I work with FirstMind, where talent, energy, strengths and increased self-awareness become the foundation for sustainable growth - both in yourself and in your collaboration.

As a business coach, mental coach and performance coach, I translate insights into concrete behaviour in operations: from personal trigger radar and talent gear (FirstMind) to cap clarity and a simple 5-step conversation framework in our SYNERGI-R programme. The goal is better collaboration, stronger decisions and faster implementation - even when the pace is fast and disagreements are pressing.

My favourite quote:
“Time is a constraint. Energy is an opportunity”

Because leadership today is about creating energy - in yourself, in relationships and in the organisation - so people and companies can grow together.
