Leadership development and business coaching for CEOs, directors and owner-managers in SMEs

When you want to lead with high energy - and create results that last.

Many CEOs, directors and owner-managers have their business under control - but still feel that energy and mental capacity are being spent on the wrong things. With demands, expectations and critical decisions piling up, it becomes harder to maintain overview, direction and calm as the pace and complexity increase.

I help you use your energy as a purposeful leadership resource. Not by turning it down - but by turning it right: sharper prioritisation, clearer frameworks and stronger decisions in the rooms where the stakes are high.

We work with a talent-based approach where your strengths and energy drivers - your FirstMind leader profile are operationalised in decisions, meetings, relationships and execution - so you lead with impact without carrying it all yourself.

The basic idea is simple: Time is a constraint. Energy is an opportunity.

This means that as a manager you get...

Self-awareness and strength-based leadership
.

- Precise clarity on what drives you, so you use your strengths strategically and turn them into a concrete performance asset in your management and business.

Energy that works

- precise overview of what drains and what lifts, so you manage your energy as a strategic resource and maintain pace, focus and momentum without wearing yourself down.

Decisiveness and focus

- You make faster and more informed decisions, stay focused on data, direction and yourself, and avoid the detours that cost speed, energy and results.

Impact and facilitation

- You lead with clarity, set clear frameworks and drive meetings and collaboration so that others take responsibility, execute and raise the level throughout the organisation.

Results that last

- You create steady progress and development because you lead with precise energy, strength-based focus and integrity - raising both your own and others' levels over time.

Who is the leadership development for?

The leadership development programme is for those who have the highest level of responsibility - and can feel that the demands on both you and the business have moved up a level.

  • CEOs, directors and owner-managers of ambitious companies

  • Founders and partners in growing and changing businesses

  • Leaders who have moved closer to the board - and need to take their leadership to the next level

Typically, you're in a place where:

  • You're pressed for capacity and realise that current ways of working don't scale
  • You feel that your current energy consumption doesn't match the level you want to perform at
  • You want to move out of the operations role and lead more on direction, prioritisation and performance
  • You want to create results through others - not solve everything yourself
  • You can feel that energy, time and focus have become a critical resource
  • Your leadership team and key profiles need to be elevated so they can take on more responsibility
  •

In a nutshell: Leadership Development is for those who want to elevate their level of leadership - with greater self-awareness, more stable energy and clearer impact in the rooms where the stakes are high.

This is what a programme can look like

All programmes are tailored to you and your role - but the structure often follows the same simple, effective framework:

Clarification & energy status
Sharp clarification of your situation, role and goals. First picture of your energy bill: where is energy lost, where are your strongest drivers - and where can you maximise your impact.

FirstMind leader profile & feedback
You complete a FirstMind test and we review your strength profile: Strengths, energy sources, blindspots, motivational factors and normal behaviour under pressure. This will be your personal basis for deciding where you lead most strongly - and where you are typically challenged.

Concrete focus areas in your management
The insights are translated into a few sharp focus areas - e.g. decisions, meetings, collaboration, boundaries, communication. Here we connect your personal energy drivers directly to your everyday life and business goals. Typically organised in a course of 4-6 sessions.

Ongoing executive coaching
Regular sessions (online or in person) where we work with current cases, relationships and dilemmas from your everyday life. You get concrete tools and new approaches to test between each session. You follow my online OPEN NEXT LEVEL training, whenever it suits you. I am your coach, sparring partner and challenger - typically in programmes of 10 sessions or more.

Monthly check-in
For those who want to maintain level and momentum. A regular space to adjust focus, hold you accountable on your priorities and be challenged in your leadership upwards, sideways and downwards. I send material to sharpen reflection and next steps.

Possibly leadership team, Team-Strength programme or partner programme
Your leadership or key team is engaged with individual and FirstMind team profiles and a common language for strengths, energy and blindspots. Typically a team session with individual sessions before - and follow-up team sessions that ensure behaviour and collaboration are truly elevated.

Speech, lecture or course
You and your team are looking for inspiration, insight or learning so that increased self-awareness and enhanced collaboration go hand in hand.

The goal is not a “nice course” - but lasting changes in how you lead, prioritise and use your energy so that the way you approach your role matches the level you want to perform at.

FAQ about CFO on Demand

1) Who is leadership development typically for?
It's for CEOs, founders, directors and owner-managers of SMEs who want a more stable grip on direction, prioritisation and energy - especially when the pace, responsibility or complexity increases. If you also need more financial visibility and decision-making power, you can also see CFO on Demand.

2) How does a programme start?
I start with a short clarification conversation. Then I'll give you a concrete proposal for focus, form and next steps.

3) What do I get out of a FirstMind leader profile?
You'll gain insight into your top talents (where you create value naturally), your energy sources (what gives/takes) and your typical blindspots (where you lose grip under pressure). This makes development more precise and easier to put into practice - and you can read more about FirstMind Here.

4) How long does a typical programme take?
It can be short and focused or more in-depth. Some people choose a few sessions to get a sense of direction and prioritisation. Others choose a longer programme where I also work with habits, collaboration and leadership through people. Read more above - “What a programme can look like”.

5) Is it online or physical?
Both work. Online provides flexibility and allows for more frequent touchpoints. In person often provides more peace and depth. I customise it to your everyday life.

6) Can we involve the management team or my team?
Yes, I can do that. If you want to improve collaboration, execution and culture, I can combine your development with a session for the management team or a team programme to anchor your approaches in everyday life.

7) What does it cost?
It depends on length and scope - and whether FirstMind profile and team sessions are included. After the clarification meeting, you will receive a concrete proposal with content and price.
